Upper Klamath River Rafting

Located just 45 minutes south of Ashland in Siskiyou County, California, the Upper Klamath River offers exceptional runs for the experienced whitewater enthusiast. This area features more than 30 Class II, III and IV rapids, combined with several runs of slow-moving currents. Along the historic run, boaters will also encounter deserted Indian settlements, cabins and old mines. Visitors can also see osprey, blue heron and the occasional bald eagle.

Directions: Travel I-5 south from Ashland 23 miles to CA-96 West, merging onto Klamath River Highway. Along the 19 miles stretch, boaters will find a variety of access points depending on their skill and adventure levels.
