We start off this edition with our own What to Do in Ashland article from Monday. As always, there are lots of options to “keep us busy, entertained, educated and enchanted”. LINK
The Daily Tidings brings us our second news item today, which describes the 2nd annual “Art Inspires Ashland” event at the Ashland Art Center this Friday and Saturday. The event is structured much like the TED talks and will feature 3 different artists from different artistic backgrounds, including a filmmaker, a painter and a musician and author. LINK*
Speaking of TED style talks, the SOU Women’s Resource Center is hosting a day long, interactive event involving workshops, presentations and performances by students, staff, faculty and community members this upcoming Monday. The event will celebrate and explore intersectional feminist practice, research, activism and creativity. LINK

In what is this world coming to news, an explosive device was detonated this morning outside of the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the fire did not spread to any of the nearby buildings. LINK
