*Spring has settled in to Ashland and Southern Oregon, and we’ve come up with 5 fun activities to partake in to enjoy this beautiful, flowery season. LINK
*For those of you who have been out of town for the winter, for Ashland foodies, or for those simply interested in keeping currently with what’s going on in town – we’ve provided an Ashland restaurant update on locations that have closed over the past few months and which restaurants have recently opened. Places like Harvey’s Place, Granite Taphouse and NW Raw are visited. LINK
*The Ashland City Council is considering raising utility rates, which would add roughly $10 a month to the average resident’s bill. LINK*

*The Ashland Parks and Recreation department will pave over the wading pool at the Daniel Meyer Pool due to concerns of contamination and costs concerns to add a new water circulation system that is separate from the main pool. LINK*
*Jackson County was officially added by the Oregon Governor, John Kitzhaber, to the list of drought emergency declarations. It is the sixth county in Oregon to receive the declaration. LINK*
*Sounds like the Oregon drought shouldn’t have much, if any, impact on rafters this summer as the Lost Creek Lake reservoir is full and will provide plenty of water for river thrill seekers. LINK
