*Southern Oregon University has been facing major financial difficulties, but is sinking $20m into a new track and football field facility. It should be ready by this fall.*

*Mt. Ashland Association is trying to figure out ways to be financially viable and sustainable, and is considering ways to make it a year round attraction through ideas such as hiking, weddings, zip lines, bands, etc.*

*The Daily Tidings shares their review of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s “The Great Society”. It is the sequel to “All the Way” by Robert Schenkkan, which moved to Broadway this year and won the Tony Award for Best Play!*

*For those following the OR-7 wolf story, it has been confirmed that he and his partner have had wolf puppies. A trail camera has caught photos of the wolf pups, which you can see via the link.

*The Ashland real estate market has surged and created a seller’s market. The median house price has increased nearly $100,000 in only 3 years.*

*The rain was a welcome treat for the parched land yesterday, but the lightening that came with it creates a threat for new wild fires.*
