Local restaurant and bar and live music venue Alex’s closed on Saturday. While it’s not entirely clear why the restaurant closed, it’s apparent financial struggles contributed. LINK*

We added a new hiking and walking trail to Insight to Ashland via our blog forum. The focus of this trail was Hearts Trail, which is located quite close to Lithia Park. LINK
