Another story that’s been in the news lately is a state senate bill attempting to give towns the ability to ban medical marijuana dispensaries at the local levels. Growing developments are seemingly squashing this notion. LINK*

More marijuana news – there is a growing possibility that a referendum asking Oregon voters to vote again on making marijuana legal for those over 21 will come to pass. LINK*

It’s a big week here in Ashland with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival opening on Friday night. It’s also Valentine’s Day, and Curious Conspiracy is hosting a big event, including the amazing Karl Denson. “Love Songs” will also be played this week at SOU in honor of Saint Valentine. A campus rising against sexual violence will also take place on Friday at SOU. Per usual, Jason Franklin brings us many eclectic and great ideas of things to do in Ashland. LINK
