The recent Wintry weather has been the talk of the town, and Ashland received near record cold temperatures this past weekend at -2 degrees F. Mt. Ashland received 17 inches of snow. LINK*

The story of Ashland’s response to the snow and cold has received some criticism, but there was a variety of factors that went into why it was “the perfect storm for ice”. The Daily Tidings covers the story of the aftermath of the big snowstorm. LINK*
